Shanna Wasson Taylor

Shanna has been the Chief Executive Officer since 1996. She has a graduate degree in Education, Leadership and Organizations from UCSB, and worked for the Girl Scouts in two different councils before coming to the Foundation. She is a volunteer for the American Camp Association and Girl Scouts, California Central Coast.

Linda McKenzie
Program Services Director

Linda was a volunteer Wish Granter before becoming the Program Services Director in 2006. She has a BS in Accounting from University of LaVerne. Before joining the employed staff of the foundation she supported the chapter through her company, Messiah’s Cookies and Biscotti, by baking and shipping thousands of donated cookies as treats for special events and wish kids. Linda is also a double wish mom. Two of her children, Jessica and Jeffrey, live with Sickle Cell and have been granted their wishes.

Janelle Boehrer
Office Operations Manager and Volunteer/Training Registrar

Janelle joined the employed staff in 2008. Before coming to us she was the Office Manager of St. Columba’s Episcopal Church in Camarillo.

Terri Yanez, CPA

Terri joined the employed staff in 2004. She has a BA in Business Administration from CSUN.
