Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties® is excited to partner with KEYT News for its second airline miles drive, on Tuesday June 14th, to help wishes take flight. This year our goal is to raise 1.4 million miles. Make-A-Wish Tri-Counites will grant nearly 100 wishes to children facing a life-threatening medical condition in Santa Barbara, Ventura and San Luis Obispo county. Of those wishes about 30 will require air travel.
KEYT has been a huge supporter to Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties and it is thanks to them that the first airline miles drive was so successful. Donated airline miles help reduce the organizations cost on travel expenses for wish kids. Just in our community, 8 million miles are needed for travel wishes each year.
Donating air miles is easy and donated miles never expire. Make-A-Wish accepts frequent flier miles from Delta and United. American Airlines, Southwest and JetBlue miles can also be donated click here to be directed to the airline's donation website.
You hold the ticket to a child's wish. Tune in and donate airline miles June 14th by calling 805-676-WISH (9474).
