Doc Burnstein’s Creates a “Wish” flavor to Support Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties
Arroyo Grande - Doc Burnstein's Ice Cream Lab has once again teamed up with Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties to create a brand-new flavor to support local families on the central coast. This year marks the 3rd annual “Make-A-Wish” flavor campaign.
Inspired by 9–year-old Wish Kid, Wesley’s, favorite flavors and toppings, Doc Burnstein’s created “Cowabunga”! The flavor will be revealed to the public on Saturday, April 29th at 3:00pm, celebrating World Wish Day at Doc’s Arroyo Grande Parlor, 114 W. Branch St., in the Village of Arroyo Grande.
A number of Wesley’s greatest fans will be in attendance at the flavor reveal where a video of Wesley creating the “Make-A-Wish” flavor will be shown to share in the excitement. The flavor will be available in all three of Doc’s central coast locations beginning April 29th through the summer, and Doc’s will be donating 25 cents of every scoop sold to Make-A-Wish.
“Doc Burnstein’s is in the business of creating enduring memories for our guests every day. Make-A-Wish brought Wesley to us, and we have created a fantastic flavor that combines his imagination and our compassion for the community.” – Greg Steinberger, Doc Burnstein’s CEO.
Doc’s anticipates this flavor will be a huge hit, and will continue to help raise money for Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties. “Since the start of the partnership, Doc’s has helped to raise over $19,000 for Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties. Doc’s teams up local families that have been helped by Make-A-Wish to give the community an opportunity to help a wonderful cause in a completely tasty way.” – Cat Keith, Doc Burnstein’s Community Development Coordinator.
Doc Burnstein’s has made it a habit to support local educational groups and charities throughout the central coast. The new partnership with Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties continues Doc’s “Giving Back” pledge of donating 10% of Doc’s annual profits to the community each year.
