Fundraising

Funding comes from individual contributions, special events, corporate donations and sponsorships, foundation grants, workplace giving programs and planned gifts. According to our Fiscal Year 2008 audit, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of the Tri-Counties spent 90% of its revenue on wish-granting and related program expenses. Only 4% was spent on administrative costs and 6% was allocated to fundraising.

Kids For Wish Kids®

Kids For Wish Kids® is an extremely popular program for kids because it is managed by kids like you. As kids, you are responsible for forming committees, coming up with fundraising ideas, and carrying them out. Teachers and parents serve as advisors, but ownership of the group belongs solely to you and the other kids involved.
