It's off to a Winter Wonderland for Quinn

  • Quinn's first introduction to snow included inner-tubing!

  • This snow angel is having the time of her life.

“ Quinn and Natalie simply had the time of their lives. ”

After being treated for leukemia for over two years, 4-year-old Quinn wished to play in the snow with her best friend, Natalie.

Quinn and family headed off to Tahoe where they met up with Natalie and played in the snow for the first time! Their time was spent building snowmen, having snowball fights, going snow tubing and ice skating and tasting falling snowflakes. Best friend necklaces, painted pottery, and Build-A-Bears gave the girls a way to bring their memories home. Watching Natalie and Quinn slide down the slopes with giggles and grins on their faces - having the time of their lives - was just what the family needed.

"It snowed the entire time we were there. It was perfect. Part sunny, snowing, and Quinn and Natalie simply had the time of their lives. Especially the inner-tubing! Make-A-Wish® has done an amazing job for our child and our family."

This entire experience has a positive impact not only for the child, but the families as well. For the parents and loved ones, it is a priceless gift to see their child light-up, and smile, and be that little kid again. It is Hope and truly therapy for all involved.

When a child is or becomes afflicted with a life-changing ailment their entire world becomes about what they can't do. By working directly with the child and their family, Make-A-Wish® Tri-Counties creates an environment for the child to do what THEY want, and truly shine.

  • Every year we partner with Make-A-Wish Foundation to create an EXCLUSIVE ice cream flavor with a very special Wish Kid. JOIN US AT OUR FLAVOR REVEAL KICKOFF EVENT on Saturday, April 29th @ 3pm in honor World Wish Day 💫 This year's Wish Kid is Wesley, from Paso Robles. At the event, we will be sharing his story, and he will reveal his custom made flavor to you! He is so excited! Wesley's flavor will be featured in ALL of our parlor locations until July 31st. 25 cents of every scoop will be donated to Make-A-Wish Tr-Cities, and our goal is to raise over $5,000. We believe that every child should have the ability to have their wishes come true. ✨ A little about Wesley - Wesley is in 3rd grade and lives in Paso Robles with his mom, dad, and his little brother (7). He enjoys spending time outdoors, and he is really excited about raising a lamb to show at the Mid-State Fair this July! Wesley was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy, which is a group of diseases that cause progressive weakness and loss of muscle mass. There is no cure for muscular dystrophy, but medications and therapy can help manage symptoms and slow the course of the disease. When asked about his wish, he exclaimed to his mom, “Fishing in Alaska!’’ His wish was fulfilled last May when he went on an Alaskan cruise. This is always a very special day for us, and an amazing kickoff event for this summer promotion. We hope to see you there! 😬😋😀
